Day 32 – Sleeping in a park outside an onsen

I was up early as usual and on the road at 7 am. While having breakfast at Lawson, four young men and their two mentors roll up and perform a ceremony in front of Lawson. So cool! As I walked through the town, I came to realize it was the Autumn Harvest Celebration. Such great video. The Japanese know how to have a good town party for sure. After walking through the festivities, I set out for the onsen to find my camping spot. After I arrived, I was a little confused about where exactly I can rollout my blanket. Truth to tell, I am wing it tonight but everything I have read says I will be fine. I went to the onsen. Super nice. The dinner was even better. All local ingrediants! Even the ice cream. Food happy for sure. Well time to head over and see if anyone cares if I sleep on a bench.
