Day 53 – Hostel in Takamatsu City

We took the 920 am ferry back to Takamatsu City and proceeded to climb to Temple 84.  Lovely walk and a very popular temple. Lots of pictures. We then walked down to get Udon from a famous restaurant. Very good. Then we walked through a village of homes that represented a historic cross section of the island. They wanted to preserve the old homes to show how things used to be built. It is an excellent example of history and preservation. After this, it started to rain so we checked into a hotel/onsen and soaked a bit. Dinner was at a Yakitori with excellent garlic chicken. Good night all.
